Shooting a range of looks in this way will allow you to have multiple shots available for different marketing purposesI don’t put a strict limit on the number of shots I take per look, and generally shoot each look until I feel we’ve got it covered. I like to shoot my headshots in a horizontal format but if you feel you need vertical shots or 3/4 shots during your session just let me know and I'd be happy to frame the images accordingly. Bring several tops to choose from. Bring extra if you are not sure, and I can help you select ones that will work. I suggest things that make you feel great but stay away from very ornate or busy patterns.
Make-Up and Hair
I ask that everyone come in with their hair ready the way you would like to present yourself. I want your hair in your pictures to be as close as possible to the way you look on a good hair day.Women: Please come with the make up that you are wearing in your business life. You will always have the chance to put a little more make up on during the session if you feel it is too little. In headshots there is just a plain background and your face and it can look overdone very quickly. Men: I usually don't recommend makeup on men. Also, for the guys who grow decent scruff or feel you might want some shots with some facial hair, you can come in with a some growth and we'll shoot until we feel we've gotten it covered and then you can shave, so bring your razor, etc.
